Kuala Lumpur, Feb 27 – RHB Islamic Bank signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Institut Keusahawanan Negara (INSKEN), which is under the purview of Unit Peneraju Agenda Bumiputera (TERAJU), to promote entrepreneurial learning and development programmes and initiatives, co-operating in utilising expertise, resources and facilities for future co-branding programmes.
Datuk Adissadikin Ali, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of RHB Islamic Bank said at the signing of MOU, “Being the first financial institution to collaborate with INSKEN, we are honoured to play a part in grooming and upscaling SMEs via this entrepreneurial development programme. In fact, we have embarked on a series of networking cum clinic sessions at various Economic Corridors including Sabah and Sarawak as part of the Group’s outreach commitment in supporting TERAJU to meet its objective.”
The Energy Commission is conducting a second competitive bidding process for companies to build large scale solar (LSS) photovoltaic (PV) plants in Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah/ Labuan.
It announces the plants will be connected to the grid and sell their energy to Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) or the Sabah Electricity Board (SESB) under a solar power purchase agreement.
Kuala Lumpur, Feb 20 - Eco World International Bhd (EWI) has signed a share subscription agreement with Guocoland Ltd, in which the latter will take up a 27% stake in EWI's enlarged issued and paid-up capital.
EWI also signed a retail underwriting agreement with six banks to underwrite its retail offering comprising 408 million initial public offering (IPO) shares, representing 17% of its enlarged issued and paid-up capital.
