The 5G Malaysia Showcase which was ongoing for four days in Putrajaya, provided an opportunity for Malaysians to witness and experience for themselves the benefits of 5G technology and its impact to their lives.
Communications and Multimedia Minister, Gobind Singh Deo said that visitors to the showcase will have the opportunity to witness various demonstrations, such as the usage of hologram to allow virtual presence, remote patient treatment and diagnosis, humanoid robotic motion control, autonomous car controlled using a combination of sensors and cameras, radar and Artificial Intelligence using 5G technology.
FedEx Express (FedEx), a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company, officially launched its new Johor Station, a one-stop logistics facility aimed to enhance connectivity of southern Malaysia region to the world.
The warehouse, measuring 2,676 square meters (28,808 square feet), is an integrated warehouse and sorting facility that is more than twice the size of the previous station.
The Ibrahim International Business District (IIBD) is located within the Southern Johor Economic Region and Daerah Sentral of Johor Bahru, covering approximately 250 acres (101 hectares) with an estimated Gross Development Value (GDV) of a minimum of RM20 billion.
