It has indeed been a long fruitful journey for DAPAT Vista (M) Sdn Bhd. In its quest to make life more meaningful for the rakyat, soon it will officially unveil its latest proprietary product: a single payment gateway for various government services targetting Malaysians who are 21 years and above.
MyPay is another feather in DAPAT Vista’s cap. This integral technological leap for HeiTech Padu Bhd’s 80%- subsidiary greatly complements the listed system integrator, application developer and IT infrastructure solutions provider’s other established businesses.
Users can check their status, obtain relevant and current information and make payments on one platform. Gone are the days when users have to take the trouble going from one government office to another in order to enquire about, resolve and settle their government dues.
Aided by transparent and trustworthy mechanism/ setting, tight security (eKYC verification) and timely reminders about due dates, MyPay enables a unique, seamless and positive total customer experience.
Guided by a Vision ‘Government and payment services at a touch of a button’, DAPAT has worked tirelessly to bring cohesiveness to both organisations and their clients alike based on streamlined real-time information. Positioning itself as an awesome value-added services provider, the company marches forward with a unique humanistic yet professional brand image.
DAPAT CEO, Nick Liew, says: “ MyPay is all about making life easier for Malaysians by changing how users use, view and use data to make payment. Efforts are made to continually improve and make the user experience effortless for people of all ages and all walks of life.”
Undoubtedly such bold and well thought-out infrastructure delivers government services in a manner which answers the needs of the people, who at one point or another have to deal with government departments and agencies for their loans, assessment, quit rent, tax, bills, summons, penalties, etc.
At the same time, it locks in the government’s position as it aspires to be a change agent, strengthening IT’s policy and practices, encourages ICT acculturation, innovating e-government applications and tightening ICT security.
DAPAT has grown from a premium content provider for short messaging system (SMS), to a developer for an array of services including multi media messaging (MMS), unstructured supplementary service data (USSD), mobile applications, mobile payment and app store. Its range of mobile services have thus reached a full circle.
For the people, no more stuck in the jams, long queues or waiting time, troublesome parking, unnecessary waste of time and many other inconveniences. They can now have easy access to relevant services on mobile devices and smart phones – from start to finish.
Having kept itself busy with product development and integration with agencies for the past one year or so, MyPay is also getting more agencies on board.
More agencies have since approached DAPAT, showing their keen interests in joining MyPay. Assuming the ongoing talks will be successful, current and future users will be able to enjoy even greater choices – with these new agencies that will subsequently be on board MyPay.
Be rest assured. DAPAT continues to form and maintain smart partnerships to provide the best possible value for consumers. For example MyPay has made certain progress in its talk with Boost. Talks with other wallets are also ongoing.
Having successfuly converged holistic moblie solutions with media and telecommunications, DAPAT helps clients in meeting their unique goals and special needs, from concept to installation and support. MyPay is a proud testimony of leveraging technology for the benefit of Malaysians.
Future plans may include CSR initiatives that aligns with MyPay’s strategies and vision to make a positive social impact.
