42 Kuala Lumpur (42KL) successfully concluded its Open Day in partnership with U Mobile, Malaysia’s future second 5G network provider.
With a shared goal of bridging the digital divide and equipping more Malaysian youth with the skills needed to thrive in a digital era, 42KL and U Mobile’s partnership positively impacted more than 100 participants with no prior coding experience eager to upskill in tech to the Open Day.
Participants engaged with a proprietary puzzle designed to assess their logical thinking and problem-solving skills. In addition, attendees were also introduced to 42KL’s unique learning model, which emphasises peer learning, project-based education, and gamification.
This innovative approach fosters collaboration, practical skill-building development, and an engaging learning experience for everyone, while breaking down traditional barriers to technology education.
Attendees who passed this challenge are now eligible to join a free four-week coding boot camp and other programmes, paving the way for their journey into tech.
“At 42 Kuala Lumpur, we believe that collaboration with corporate partners like U Mobile amplifies the impact of our initiatives. By working together with industry leaders, we can open doors to tech education for more individuals, helping them unlock their potential and contribute meaningfully to Malaysia’s digital future.
With 42 Malaysia’s mission to develop 10,000 skilled tech talents over the next decade, partnerships like this bring us closer to making that vision a reality,” said Jeff Sandhu, Chief Operating Officer of 42 Malaysia.
