KUALA LUMPUR – Ayam Brand, a household name with more than 130 years of heritage, has strengthened its commitment to community nutrition and well-being through a collaboration with Sunway XFarms.
The #AyamBersamaMu initiative brought together 60 children from underprivileged backgrounds for a day of experiential learning that linked healthy eating with sustainable farming.
The programme builds on Ayam Brand’s decade-long legacy of promoting healthier eating habits among children and underserved communities. By pairing food provision with nutritional education, #AyamBersamaMu aims to deliver long-term benefits that go beyond immediate aid.
“At Ayam Brand, we believe nutrition and education must go hand-in-hand to create meaningful change. Through #AyamBersamaMu we empower children to understand healthy eating while addressing immediate food needs in communities,” said Teoh Wei Ling, Head of Marketing at Ayam Brand.
Beyond the event, Ayam Brand is distributing food aid nationwide through its NGO partner, Food Aid Foundation, reaching up to 1,000 underprivileged individuals.
“This ensures the impact continues beyond a single day, reinforcing Ayam Brand’s holistic approach to tackling food security while empowering future generations.”
#AyamBersamaMu reflects Ayam Brand’s vision of making nutritious food accessible while nurturing healthier generations through strategic partnerships and community-focused initiatives.
At the event’s held at Sunway XFarms, 60 children from Rumah Pengasih Warga Prihatin and Rumah Kebajikan & Anak Yatim Darul Najjah (An Najjah) spent a day of experiential learning focused on healthy eating, sustainable farming, with fun and interactive activities.
The children took part in interactive activities including a “Suku Suku Separuh” nutrition session featuring Ayam Brand products, a hydroponics workshop using recycled Ayam Brand™ cans, and a guided tour of the farm’s greenhouse facilities.
The day ended with a “Farm-to-Fork” lunch prepared with Ayam Brand products and fresh produce harvested directly from the farm.
