Sunway Medical Centre launched its new Wellness Centre to meet the growing demand for preventive healthcare services in the Klang Valley. Located on the 4th Floor, Tower A of the leading regional medical centre, the launch of the 5, 500 sq ft centre was officiated by Founder and Chairman, Sunway Group, Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Dr. Jeffrey Cheah AO.
The Wellness Centre is designed to help customers better manage potential health risks through preventive care as they juggle the daily stresses of a hectic lifestyle. This extends to how patients access services within the centre and the hospital by reducing commuting time between locations, making it easier for consults with specialists, and simplifies how records and customer care is handled. For instance, services like radiology, now located next to the centre, makes it easier for customers to enjoy priority access with comfort and privacy. To celebrate the launch of the new centre, Sunway Medical is offering a 30-percent discount on selected health packages, from 16 April to 30 June 2018.
The Wellness Centre offers a range of complete health screening packages tailored for men and women of specific age ranges – below 40 years old, 40-50 years old, and above 50 years of age. Apart from that, the centre also offers pre-employment health screening packages for busy executives.

Treatments include History and Clinical Examinations, Body Mass Index (BMI), Blood Pressure Screening, Full Blood Investigation, Thyroid Screening and many more. Meanwhile, teams of Medical Officers and Consultants are on standby to provide specific screening programmes and personalised consultation.
More than 70 guests attended the grand opening including local celebrities and social media influencers like Amber Chia, Mia Chai, Anuja Ananthan, Xandria Ooi and Careen Tan, business partners comprising international agents, Human Resource heads, and insurance agents and members of the media. Guests, who were taken on a tour of the new centre also enjoyed activities themed around the idea of ‘Wellness’ including soap making, a terrarium booth, and fresh fruit juice by JuiceLab.
The new Wellness Centre is one of several specific Centres of Excellence that Sunway Medical Centre has established to offer a more targeted, integrated and customer-centric approach to healthcare services.
