Celebrating its 143 Year Anniversary, Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia held an exclusive dinner event, ‘An Evening with Standard Chartered Bank’, recently.

Over 100 guest and senior executives from Standard Chartered assembled for the special celebration, where the Bank’s Global Research team shared insights into the economic outlook ahead.

The guests were entertained with jazz performances, a one-of-a-kind portraiture session with world-renowned photographer, Zung, aka the Ninja Photographer, and a stand-up comedy routine from funnyman Rizal van Geyzel.

“As Malaysia’s first bank with a 143-year history in this nation, I am honored that we have been here as part of the nation’s history. We have a deep connection to this country, and we continue to be committed and focused on delivering client-first solutions, and being here for good.” said managing director and chief executive officer of Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia, Abrar A.
