OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad has upgraded its banking mobile application to make banking more convenient, simpler and faster for its corporate customers.
This allows their corporate customers to make payments and grant authorisation while on the go.
Last year OCBC Bank became the first foreign bank in the country to introduce a business mobile banking application with biometric authentication.
It allows iPhone and Samsung users instant access to their account balances and to check the status of incoming and outgoing funds.
“The move to allow payments and authorisations is in line with the Bank’s commitment to digital innovation and the quest to make its products and services simple, fast and convenient for business banking customers,” said OCBC Bank’s head of global transaction banking Chong Lee Ying
She also added that customers can now perform fund transfers and authorise transactions from their mobile devices anytime, anywhere.
“It is all falling into place and we are excited about the journey ahead with several more features in the pipeline and ready to be rolled out in the next few months,” Chong added.
“E-payments have now moved forward significantly with mobile phone applications and OCBC Bank will continue to make digital banking even easier and more accessible to our customers, in line with Bank Negara Malaysia’s goal for the country to become a cashless society by 2020,” said Chong.
