Tp-Link unveils their new range of budget-friendly smartphones, the new Neffos X9, C9, C9A and C7A and smart home mesh wifi system to the local market.
Comes in two colours, black and silver, the new Neffos X9 boasts an advanced dual-camera system around the back and large Full-View Display on the front, incorporates them into an attractive polycarbonate body with premium metallic look.
One of the X9’s remarkable features is its large 5.99-inch Fullview HD IPS display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, gives users a near bezel-less experience.
The X9 comes equipped with a MediaTek MT6750 SoC, up to 4GB of RAM, a maximum internal storage configuration of 64GB (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card), and a 3060mAh non-removable battery.
The phone’s also relatively lightweight, weighing in at just 168g with thickness of just 7.85mm. Neffos X9 is equipped with 13- and 5 megapixel and a 8MP front-facing camera sensor.
Besides that, the phone also comes with a fingerprint sensor that Neffos says will unlock the phone within the “fraction of a second”.
The X9 variant with 3GB/32GB storage is already available at an SPR of RM599, at all authorised resellers and e-commerce partners. There is also a variant with 4GB/64GB storage, but that model will only be made available in Malaysia at the end of August at an SRP of RM799.
The C9 and C9A that comes with 5.99- and 5.45-inch screens respectively are manufactured using in-cell technology for clear and vibrant picture, serving ultimate viewing and gaming experiences.
Equipped with 3840mAh battery for C9 and 3020mAh battery for C9A, this smartphone is designed to provide maximum user experience.
Both Neffos C9 and C9A which comes in two colours, grey and silver, runs on ARM Cortex-A53 with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 720 x 1440 pixels screen resolution, 13MP rear camera and incorporates both fingerprint and face identification to unlock the phone.
Designed for users to take a perfect selfie, a 10-level Real-Time Beautify function is incorporated in Neffos C9 8MP front softlight camera and C9A 5MP front softlight camera.
The C9A is priced at RM429 and is now available in stores while the C9 is priced at RM479 and will be available in store at the end of August.
Neffos C7A is the cheapest Neffos smartphone unveiled by TP-Link, priced at only RM359. This phone powered by 64-bit, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, Android 8.1 Oreo and equipped with a 4G LTE modem with speeds up to 150Mbps. Neffos C7A also features 8MP, f/2.2 rear camera with fast auto-focus and 2MP, f/2.2 front camera to capture perfect moments with precision and clarity.
Last but not least, TP-Link also introduces the Neffos P1, the first ever smartphone with a built-in projector.
However, according to Neffos, the phone is still in its prototype stage, hence any hardware specifications that was shown during the event have yet to be confirmed and could change in the finalised version of it.
Meanwhile, TP-Link also unveiled Smart Home Mesh Wi-Fi System AC2200 together with the smartphones during the launching events.
This system provided support to Wifi router Deco N9 plus which launched back in June. With Deco M9 Plus, users can enjoys fast and secure Wi-Fi for over 100 connected devices, and take control of all their smart home devices, no need to buy an additional hub.
Besides that, each Deco M9 Plus unit has a built-in smart hub, leading all smart home devices onto one platform. Deco M9 Plus is compatible with smart bulbs, lights, switches, locks, sensors, plug, cameras and more.
