Having similar targeting consumers, OPPO and Shiseido both are focusing on young generation, to produce refined product that meets functionality and visual standard.
Through the collaboration, both brands were inspired by each other and to OPPO, smartphones are not only a communication tools, but also an art. .
The F9 has an abundance of new features that revolutionise the OPPO F-Series such as enhanced battery life as with only five minutes of charge, users get two hours’ worth of talk time.
Additionally, the F9 is equipped with AI-enhanced dual rear cameras (16MP + 2MP) which help achieve an amazing Bokeh effect when taking pictures and OPPO F9’s 25MP front-facing camera also does not disappoint as the reinvented 'Sensor-HDR' technology improves backlight selfies and allows users to check high dynamic exposure live effects in real-time.

The gift box comes with Shiseido Rouge Rouge lipstick in Primrose Sun (RS419) worth RM108 and a flash makeup service card that allows customers to experience a makeup service that Shiseido exclusively designed for OPPO F9 Starry Purple, there are two types of makeup choices either Romantic Daily Look or Chic and Cool Night look.

Having launched its two gradient colour combination of F9 previously in August, this new upcoming colour, Starry Purple is also equipped with Gradient Spraying Technology and “Frame Gradient” tech used by OPPO provides a perfect combination of gradient design on the back and the user a more unified viewing experience.
The colour design aesthetics of the OPPO F9 reflects both OPPO's design ideology and insights into what aesthetics appeals to young consumers around the globe and another prominent design upgrade in this model is the Waterdrop Screen, which is inspired by a water drop that is about to fall.
The F9 comes with a 6.3-inch bezel-less screen that features a resolution of 2340x1080 FHD+ and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9, a super-high screen-to-body ratio of 90.8 per cent.
A major significant OPPO F9 sets apart from its previous F-series predecessor is their breakthrough in charging with its VOOC Flash Charge as this technology is independently developed by OPPO and has a charging speed which is four times faster than general charging at 5V1A.
In addition VOOC also boasts an intelligent five-layer protection system from the adaptor to the port and interior of the phone, VOOC has replaced the voltage reducing circuit with an MCU, effectively preventing the mobile phone from overheating while charging, making VOOC one of the safest and fastest charging solution in the market.
Based on Android 8.1, OPPO brings the ColorOS 5.2 Operating System which can continuously analyse the user’s habits and preferences, aggregating the contents he or she is interested in and The F9 is also equipped with the Google Lens that can identify the object and show relevant search results and information.
When it comes to hardware, the 6GB + 64GB memory combination improves the speed of operation while also supporting 256GB memory expansion and to satisfy users with multiple sim cards, F9 applies a design that contains three card slots, two for sim cards and one for the storage card.
Priced at RM1,399, the limited edition OPPO F9 x Shiseido Starry Purple gift box is available exclusively at OPPO’s e-commerce partner, Lazada online store start from 3 October, 12pm onwards while stock last.
As for its normal edition, the pre-order activity will start from 2 October onwards until 5 October. Customers may head to OPPO Concept Stores, OPPO authorised dealer stores to purchase the OPPO F9 Starry Purple.
