Epson announced the launch of its new mid-range 3LCD laser projectors, the EB-L500/L600 series, which offers one of the smallest footprint in size and weight in its class.

Suitable for corporate and education usage, the EB-L500/L600 series of laser projectors brings cost savings with minimal maintenance, as well as ease of installation for conference presentations and lecture hall usage, while delivering spectacular image quality.

Designed and manufactured by Epson, the compact and powerful EB-L500/L600 series weighs at a lightweight 8.5kg, packing in a smaller laser optical engine.

Its innovative compact laser diode package and original optical block structure enables the projector to maintain a small size while achieving higher brightness compared to other projectors in its class.

These series of projectors deliver vivid and bright images at up to WUXGA resolution, with the EB-L610W and EB-L610U models at 6,000 lumens of white and colour brightness, and the EB-L510U at 5,000 lumens.

Powered by its laser light source, the EB-L600 series offers extremely long light hours of up to 20,000 hours in normal mode, and 30,000 hours in extended mode without need for maintenance, bringing significant cost savings to users.

Projecting large screen sizes of more than 200 inches, the EB-L500/600 series of laser projectors are designed for ease of installation flexibility.

The projectors support a wide range of optical lens shift and a wide zoom range of 1.6 times, with a wider throw ratio of 1.35 to 2.20 compared to other projectors.

Importantly, the projector’s centre lens positioning function enable convenient replacement of the current installed projector.

Other features for ease of installation include tilt-free installation, horizontal and vertical keystone correction, quick corner and arc correction, amongst others.

The EB-L600 series is compatible with a wide range of external devices, and additional ports include HDMI and HDBaseT that can help to lower total cost of installation.

Ideal for larger venues, HDBaseT connectivity enables transmission of Full HD video, audio and Ethernet. The EB-L610U provides screen mirroring with wireless transmission of full HD video from compatible smart devices and laptops, without need for any software installation, bringing ease and convenience in setting up.

The split screen feature enables input from two different sources to be displayed side-by-side on the same screen, which can be used in video conferences for contents and participants to be projected together.

With the iProjection app, users can also easily share and transmit images, texts and files from smart devices and laptops wirelessly.

The new QR code function enables easy connection by scanning of a projected QR code and a remote control function is also built into iProjection for controlling of projector functions.

All L500/L600 series of projectors comes with either a three year warranty covering the light source or 12,000 hours of usage.
