Combined with the LUCIA TD ink and Canon FINE print head, the new imagePROGRAF TA Series produces sharp text, accurate lines and vivid colours with excellent weather resistance, even on plain paper. Producing prints that are great for indoor usage.
The multi-purpose large format printers are also powered by L-COA PRO imaging processors, yielding exceptional print quality at rapid speed while meeting various job requirements. Within 30 seconds, the large-format printers are able to produce beautiful and true-to-colour posters on plain paper using the Fast (Q5) mode.
Exclusive to the TA Series, the printers allows for more flexibility in borderless printing, which eliminates the need for manual cutting. The new edge-to-edge printing on 3 sides option is also available for output sizes that do not match the conventional paper roll width.
Optimized Production with Non-stop Printing
The imagePROGRAF TA Series spots a full front operation system, which permits easy utilisation of the printers. Even when pushed to the wall, users can effortlessly reload media, switch out ink tanks and collect printouts. The sub-ink tank system also promises uninterrupted printing, as it is configured to maximize ink usage efficiently and replacement of ink tanks can take place during a print run.
To further maximize productivity and uptime, the series’ air-feeding system keeps paper straight to ensure consistent feeding and reduce paper jams. The platen air suction also guarantees highly precise ink droplets and evades print head rubbing on media while printing.
Workflow and Design Software Support
The TA series is embedded with solutions to help get the most out of the printers. Create professional posters in-house with the PosterArtist Lite and Easy-PhotoPrint Editor software packed with more than 1,300 preloaded templates, photos and clip art. Additionally, with the Free Layout Plus software, enjoy nesting, tiling and duplex printing features.
Beyond poster creation, the large format printers are also equipped with the Accounting Manager solution to calculate costs, track ink and media usage. Also offered with the TA series is the Device Management Console, which monitors printer status and colour usage effortlessly.
