5 AUGUST 2021, Kuala Lumpur – As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to rage on and impact small businesses in the local economy, Revenue Monster, a Malaysian financial technology company focused on pioneering business digitisation, is stepping up to help Malaysian SMEs stay afloat throughout the crisis through a partnership with the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), through its Go-eCommerce Onboarding and Shop Malaysia Online (SMO) campaigns – an initiative under Belanjawan 2021.
The Go-eCommerce campaign sees Revenue Monster working with Malaysian SME owners to digitalise their businesses through à la carte, Revenue Monster’s all-in-one online super-store solution designed to help businesses take their operations online, driving business sustainability and generating revenue.
“As a company that aims to ease the process of digitalisation for business and SMEs in particular, Revenue Monster is proud to be a part of the Go-eCommerce campaign,” shared Amanda Chin, CEO of Revenue Monster. “We recognize that times are hard and SMEs in particular, need a helping hand to survive this ongoing pandemic. Now, local businesses can tap into Revenue Monster’s wide-ranging ecosystem to upgrade their business to digital at zero cost.”
Businesses that sign up for the campaign will benefit from four (4) key Revenue Monster features:
- Receive one FREE* payment terminal and marketing materials
Businesses will receive one (1) contactless payment starter kit with one (1) free payment terminal that will support the businesses’ contactless payment customer experience.
- Own an online store (à la carte)
Revenue Monster’s online super-store solution will enable businesses to sell online and receive orders via Delivery, Pick-up, and Drive-Thru, alongside a personalized website link to their business.
- Effortless payment solution – Payment Links
Selling on social media and WhatsApp is made easier with specific payment links that help businesses track payment collections with a free online payment setup facility that includes eInvoice and Livepay links.
- Interoperable platforms with Terminals, Merchant App and Portal
Businesses can receive orders on the à la carte Store via the merchant app or payment terminal, and track all offline and online payments on a single dashboard.
In addition to helping businesses onboard the Go-eCommerce campaign, Amanda shared that Revenue Monster hopes to help businesses generate additional revenue through the Shop Malaysia Online (SMO) rebate campaign, with up to RM 85,500 in cash rebates to be given away. Users who spend a minimum of RM35 in a single transaction are entitled to an instant RM5 rebate using a special promo code: SHOP5.
The promo code is applicable for all à la carte merchants and is available to all first-time users to claim throughout the campaign period. To redeem, after placing their order, customers need only insert the SHOP5 promo code at the checkout for an instant RM5 rebate.
“We want to further encourage people to support our local merchants through their à la carte stores. We hope that by rewarding the end customer, more of them will be encouraged to buy local and help support these businesses who need our help and attention,” said Amanda.
“The overall Go-eCommerce Onboarding campaign is expected to benefit 300,000 local businesses, something the industry sorely needs at this moment,” Amanda continued. “Revenue Monster stands by our commitment to helping Malaysian businesses, particularly SMEs who have been heavily impacted by the pandemic. We aim to support as many businesses as possible and encourage them to take advantage of this campaign and sign up to enjoy our benefits.”
