Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 1 May 2022 – UOB Asset Management (Malaysia) (UOBAM (Malaysia))’s United ASEAN Discovery Fund has topped the Lipper’s ASEAN Equity 2021 League Table1. The ranking was on the back of the fund’s strong outperformance in average returns by 70 per cent compared with its regional peers. In addition, the fund was also named Best Fund over Three Years, Equity ASEAN category at the 2022 Refinitiv Lipper Malaysia Fund Awards.
UOBAM (Malaysia)’s United Bond and Equity Strategic Trust was also awarded the Best Fund over Three Years for Mixed Asset MYR Balanced - Global category by Refinitiv Lipper Malaysia, in addition to its 18 per cent returns outperformance against its industry peers2.
