To celebrate its 30th anniversary, Watsons Malaysia today announced the launch of its first Watsons-branded aircraft in partnership with AirAsia, becoming the first retailer in Malaysia to bring health and beauty to aviation. The Watsons-branded aircraft will serve passengers at KLIA Terminal 2 from mid-July. In addition to the Watsons-themed aircraft, passengers will also be able to shop on board and participate in a series of interactive activities on board.
Dr. Ngai Wen Ling, Group CEO of Watsons, celebrated the new milestone with Watsons management and partners at the event and said: "Today I am very pleased to unveil the first branded aircraft launched in partnership with AirAsia to celebrate Watsons Malaysia's 30th anniversary. Customers can purchase Watsons products on board, including travel and health products, portable beauty products, Watsons exclusive and own-brand products. Watsons has more than 700 stores in Malaysia. Passengers can easily scan the QR code on board to purchase products before departure and pick up the products at any store after arriving in Malaysia.
With the Asia One Pass, Watsons members can enjoy shopping fun at Watsons stores in 10 Asian markets. In addition to enjoying local discounts during travel, they can also earn points at Watsons stores in other Asian markets.
