From August 9-12, 2024, the 15th Worldwide Chinese Life Insurance Congress and the2024International Dragon Award (IDA) Annual Conference will be held in Kuala Lumpur, alongwiththe26th National Chinese Life Insurance Congress. The event will gather nearly 11,000 professionals from the worldwide financial insurance industries, aiming to break down language barriers, enhance cultural communication, and create a more open and diverse platform for exchange. In August 1996, the first Worldwide Chinese Life Insurance Congress was successfully held in Taipei, China. Over the past 28 years, the Congress has been dedicated to establishing a platform for the worldwide Chinese financial insurance industry to pursue a higher level of attainment and excellence. It continuously delivers positive and accurate industry information, knowledge, and skills, aiming to promote the healthy development of the worldwide Chinese financial insurance sector. As a result, the Worldwide Chinese Life Insurance Congress has gradually gained recognition, endorsement, participation, dedication and support from Chinese financial insurance professionals worldwide. It has become the most esteemed international, professional and high-level platform for learning, exchange and honor among Worldwide Chinese financial insurance practitioners.
The International Dragon Award (IDA) serves as a prestigious international honor, providing an objective and impartial standard for the worldwide financial insurance industry. It actively promotes the principles of "Paragon, Perfection, Nobility," gaining increasing recognition and respect from financial insurance professionals worldwide, thus elevating its international status. Since 1998, more than 250 insurance organizations and 163,000 financial insurance professionals from over 17 countries and regions have been inducted into the IDA Hall of Honor. On July15,2024,the IDA Executive Committee held the "First 2024 International Dragon Award (IDA) Member Companies Worldwide Ranking Conference" in Hong Kong, China. This event announced 25 years' worth of cumulative IDA member data, providing valuable insights and analysis for financial insurance institutions and business teams globally, thereby fostering the prosperity and development of the international financial insurance industry.

This year's conference has received strong support and guidance from Malaysian government. In 2024, more than 23,000 financial insurance professionals from over 250 insurance organizations across 17 countries and regions globally have been awarded the International Dragon Award (IDA). Twelve teams have achieved the honor of being named IDA Hundred-Member Teams. Additionally, by 2024, there have been a total of 461 Lifetime Members and 15 Hall of Fame Members. At this conference, these elite professionals will take the stage of honor, exemplifying the Paragon, Perfection and Nobility of the Worldwide Chinese Insurance Agencies.
At the "Glory Tribute" and "Dragon Night" segments of this conference, over 6,500 IDA members, including Platinum, Gold Dragon, Silver Dragon, and Bronze Dragon Award recipients, will attend the awards ceremony in person. Furthermore, the conference will honor Mr. Khor Hock Seng, CEO of Great Eastern Holdings, and Mr. Kam Chee Meng, Senior District Director of Prudential Malaysia, with the highest accolade, the " Worldwide Chinese Life Insurance Lifetime Achievement Award, "in recognition of their significant contributions and 40 years of dedication to the insurance industry.
