Malaysia’s Discoverloan Makes Global Top 21 in “2025 Go Healthy with Taiwan”
Malaysia’s Discoverloan.my has earned a place among the Top 21 semi-finalists in the global innovation campaign “2025 Go Healthy with Taiwan,” joining an international field of promising startups redefining the future of health and wellness. Commissioned by Taiwan’s International Trade Administration (TITA), Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), and executed by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), the campaign drew an impressive 638 proposals from 55 countries, underscoring Taiwan’s growing influence in the global health technology ecosystem.
The selected innovators—ranging from AI-driven fitness platforms to smart medical drones—come from Argentina, Germany, Kenya, the United States, and beyond, offering solutions that bridge global health needs with Taiwan’s advanced technological capabilities.
Representing Malaysia, Discoverloan.my proposed collaboration models between local financial service providers and Taiwanese enterprises—such as promoting e-bike subsidy and financing schemes, integrating loan support for bicycle purchases, and providing tailored credit consultation through its digital platform. These ideas align with the campaign’s emphasis on building healthier, smarter, and more connected communities through cross-border cooperation. The “Go Healthy with Taiwan” campaign focuses on three strategic sectors: fitness and sports tech, cycling, and smart healthcare. From smart bikes that enhance elderly cognitive health to medical drones delivering supplies to remote regions, the 21 selected proposals showcase how innovation can empower global well-being.
The campaign's overwhelming success—exceeding its target of 638 submissions—is a testament to its global appeal. TITA Deputy Director General Susan Chi-Chuan Hu called the initiative "a global invitation to collaborate." At the same time, TAITRA Executive VP Joe Chou noted that the high engagement "demonstrates that Taiwan has become a key player in the health technology sector."
The Grand Finals will be held in Taiwan on 9 December 2025, where the top three teams will each receive a US$30,000 prize.
