sooka introduces VIP TV for full access to premium content, streamed through selected Smart TVs and get a ‘Buy 1, FREE 1 month promotion’ for new subscribers
Kuala Lumpur, 15 June 2022 – sooka, an entertainment streaming app, today launched its new VIP TV plan in partnership with Smart TV brands – Samsung, LG, Sharp and Sony. The VIP TV plan enables users to enjoy sooka’s premium content, namely local and international LIVE sports action, hyperlocal and LIVE entertainment, and sooka Original series, on big screen TVs. Launched in Malaysia a year ago, sooka allows Malaysians to stream content on-the-go from their mobile devices and is now providing users with the freedom to stream its premium content on bigger screens with their loved ones at the comfort of their homes.
To enjoy sooka’s big screen viewing experience, users can subscribe to the VIP TV plan at the price of RM84.90 per month. The VIP TV plan unlocks access to all premium content under sooka’s current VIP+Sports and VIP Entertainment mobile app plans and allows concurrent viewing access to one Smart TV and up to two mobile devices logins.

Putting sooka App on Smart TV through Strategic Partnerships
Partners for sooka VIP TV include Samsung, LG, Sharp and Sony. Earlier this year, sooka started the big screen journey by establishing partnerships with Sharp and Sony, and is now expanding the partnerships to Samsung and LG.

Starting 16 June 2022 until 15 July 2022, new customers subscribing to VIP TV can enjoy a ‘Buy 1 month, FREE 1 month’ promotion for all web purchases at sooka.my, in which subscribers will receive the second month’s subscription for free. Customers can visit sooka’s subscription page on the mobile app or official website to subscribe to the VIP TV plan, and download the sooka app from the partners’ respective Smart TV app stores to enjoy the big screen TV experience. As with the existing VIP+Sports and VIP Entertainment mobile plans, the VIP TV is contract-free and comes with no long-term commitment.
