ERNW Reviews Source Code for Huawei 5G Core Network UDG, Finds It Is of Good Quality

[Brussels, Belgium, May 15, 2020] ERNW, an independent IT security service provider in Germany, recently conducted a technical review of the source code for Huawei's unified distributed gateway (UDG) on 5G core networks. ERNW senior auditors reviewed the source code by using leading tools and methods as well as the industry's best practices, and released a review report. The report showed that the source code quality is a good indicator that Huawei has established a mature and appropriate software engineering process for UDG. This is a convincing proof that Huawei 5G core networks are secure and reliable.

Canon Contributes Essential Items To Frontliners

SHAH ALAM, 15 MAY 2020 - COVID-19 has undoubtedly created myriads of uncertainties to both personal and business. As it continues to affect the livelihoods of Malaysians, Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd (“Canon”) has stepped out further to contribute essential items worth more than RM 15,000 to several hospitals, the police and government agencies in an effort to help those frontliners who are relentlessly fighting to combat COVID-19. 

Essential supplies such as face masks and hand sanitizers were supplied to Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) Bukit Aman recently to ensure the safety of police personnel who are on the frontliners during this global pandemic. Several units of printers, toners and cartridges were donated to Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah Alor Setar (HSBAS), Hospital Sultan Abdul Halim Sungai Petani (HSAH), Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah Kuala Terengganu (HSNZ) and Majlis Keselamatan Negara to meet their printing needs and to streamline workflow to boost productivity within the departments.

Alliance Islamic Bank Partners YaPEIM To Help Smes And B40 Communities

Kuala Lumpur, 14 May 2020 – Alliance Islamic Bank Berhad (Alliance Islamic Bank) and Yayasan Pembangunan Ekonomi Islam Malaysia (YaPEIM) today signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enlist small-and-medium enterprises (SMEs) who are Alliance Islamic Bank’s customers as suppliers under YaPEIM’s Food Bank programme. 

This mutually-beneficial ecosystem offers YaPEIM an additional supplier resource to procure food and essential products at competitive rates to provide to marginalised communities. For the SMEs, the arrangement offers a new market opportunity to sell their products while helping communities-in-need.

Visa Token Service to Add 28 New Partners to Strengthen Digital Payment Security Globally

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – May 14, 2020 —Visa Inc. (NYSE:V) today announced that 28 new partners will be joining Visa Token Service as credential-on-file (COF) token requestors. These new partners will help make digital transactions more secure by tokenizing both one-time and recurring payments made with Visa credentials. Tokenization replaces a cardholder’s 16-digit Visa account number with a token that only Visa can unlock, protecting the underlying card number from fraudsters. 

New partners joining Visa Token Service include acquirer gateway and technology partners Assist, Aurus, BlueSnap, Braspag, Bambora, DPO PayGate, eComCharge, Fat Zebra, eGHL, Infinitium, iPay88, Iveri, LiqPay/PrivatBank, Mail.ru, Moneris, One Inc., Omise, Payture, Payvision, Portmone, RBK.Money, Spreedly, Tickets Travel Network EESTI, Tranzzo, WalletDoc, WayForPay, Windcave, and Yandex.Money. Once certified, these 28 partners will be able to tokenize credential-on-file digital payments on behalf of their merchant and payment clients for an additional level of security.
