BizSmart Challenge 2018 is offering up to RM5 million in collateral-free financing 

The BizSmart Challenge 2018, presented by Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad and Eco World Development Group Berhad, is back for the fifth year, offering RM1 million in cash and media coverage prizes, and up to RM5 million in collateral-free financing for finalists.

This year’s challenge will be in the format of a reality TV show, the first reality TV business programme in the country by a financial institution.

AirAsia offering lower fares for GE14

AirAsia is offering one-way fixed fares on all domestic routes on May 8th and 9th to support Malaysians travelling back to their constituencies to vote in conjunction with the 14th General Election.

Passengers travelling within Peninsular Malaysia and within East Malaysia can now purchase ticket at RM 99.

Mercedes-Benz launches EQ brand in Malaysia

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) debuts its new brand for electric mobility,  the EQ to local market in an effort to expand its commitment to the growing electric-powered car market. 

The EQ, which stands for electric intelligence, stands as pioneer of future mobility solutions, and will now become the trademark for the company’s range of electric vehicles.

YTL Power International Collaborates with Agensi Inovasi Malaysia and the Global Peace Foundation 

YTL Power International Berhad (YTL Power) today signed a Collaboration Agreement with Agensi Inovasi Malaysia (AIM) and the Global Peace Foundation (GPF) to provide RM184,600 of funding into the Communities Unite for Purewater (CUP) social intervention programme run by the Global Peace Foundation. 

CUP seeks to provide clean and safe water to uplift the welfare of targeted rural and underserved communities, particularly Orang Asli communities in West Malaysia and other indigenous communities in East Malaysia. Based on the latest estimates from WHO/UNICEF Joint Monitoring Programme 2017, it has shown that 3 in 10 people worldwide, or 2.1 billion, lack access to safe, readily available water at home, and 6 in 10, or 4.5 billion, lack safely managed sanitation.
