Country Garden Pacificview Sdn Bhd (CGPV), developer of the upcoming Forest City township in Johor, has chosen Trimble Malaysia to equip its Industrialised Building System (IBS) base with technology solutions aimed at increasing productivity, efficiency and level of service at the precast plant. 

CGPV’s IBS base, which was announced back in August last year, is said to be the largest of its kind in the world when completed. Trimble’s technology solutions will provide essential fabrication data for the ERP system that runs the IBS base and integration with Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes, among others. Future implementation will streamline operational flow at the factories – from design phase to fabrication and downstream quality assurance/quality control inspection – thus optimizing the entire supply chain workflow.

PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB), a subsidiary of PETRONAS, has awarded its contract for the provision of maintenance, construction and modification services (MCM) at its offshore facilities in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak to five local contractors.

Carimin Engineering Services Sdn Bhd, Dayang Enterprise Sdn Bhd, Deleum Primera Sdn Bhd, Petra Resources Sdn Bhd, Sapura Fabrication Sdn Bhd and its joint venture partner Borneo Seaoffshore Engineering Sdn Bhd were selected for the five-year contract with an option to extend an additional year which took effect in September last year.

CIMB Bank Berhad has launched Sun Income Secure, to enable its customers to enjoy protection, investment and a guaranteed yearly income in a single plan to facilitate retirement planning.

Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad (BPMB) launched its “Workplace of the Future” initiative in support of the 2050 National Transformation or TN50 programme helmed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The initiative was officially launched by Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin.
