SEPANG, May 31 (Bernama) -- The Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Dato' Sri Hajah Nancy Binti Shukri personally welcomed passengers aboard the new direct Malaysia Airlines flight upon arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport from Doha today.  
 
The new service will continue driving Malaysia’s tourism recovery via this new route and further boost the growth of traffic flow via KLIA, opening up Malaysia more broadly to travellers from other international destinations. The service will provide passengers seamless connectivity via Hamad International Airport, enabling optimal connections to the United States, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, through the airline’s codeshare partnership with Qatar Airways.

KUALA LUMPUR, May 31 (Bernama) -- Tourism Malaysia and Expedia Group, the world’s travel platform, today announced a joint-marketing collaboration to support Malaysia’s domestic and international efforts to promote tourism to Malaysia.

Aligned with Tourism Malaysia’s tourism promotion strategies, the agreement will see both parties embark on an Expedia Group Media Solutions global campaign to promote inbound travel from Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States to Malaysia. The joint campaign will spotlight Malaysia’s hidden and unique tourist attractions, as well as promote the variety of accommodation to Expedia Group’s 750+ million monthly visitors globally.

KOTA KINABALU, 31 Mei (Bernama) -- Agrobank sebuah Institusi Kewangan Pembangunan (IKP) dengan fokus untuk membangunkan sektor pertanian dan agromakanan hari ini telah menyerahkan sumbangan zakat perniagaan bernilai RM540,569.95 kepada Majlis Ugama Islam Sabah (MUIS) dalam satu majlis di Kota Kinabalu.

Majlis penyerahan itu telah disempurnakan oleh Presiden/ Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Agrobank, Tengku Ahmad Badli Shah Raja Hussin kepada Pengerusi MUIS, Datuk Seri Panglima Yahya Hussin.

Penyerahan tersebut disaksikan oleh Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sabah, Tun Juhar Mahiruddin, di Istana Negeri.
