KUALA LUMPUR, March 16 (Bernama) -- Organised by Yayasan Usahawan Malaysia, the first-ever Northern edition of the SME and Entrepreneurs Business Awards (SEBA) 2022 is set to take place on 26 March 2022 at the Setia SPICE Convention Centre, Penang, in the presence of the guest of honour – Yang di-Pertua Negeri Pulau Pinang, Tuan Yang Terutama Tun Dato’ Seri Utama Ahmad Fuzi bin Haji Abdul Razak, as an effort to uplift SMEs and entrepreneurs that are established outside of Kuala Lumpur.
Earlier this year, Yayasan Usahawan Malaysia announced that the awards will be adapting the SEBA 2022: RISE UP concept, where they will be expanding into three chapters - the Northern Edition, Southern Edition, and the KL Grand Central, for its seventh instalment. The objective of this movement was to draw attention to deserving SMEs and entrepreneurs in Northern and Southern regions, while the KL Grand Central edition serves as the pinnacle of recognition.
