KUALA LUMPUR, 4 November 2021 – eAGRO today introduced the first online platform for agricultural inputs (agri-inputs) in Malaysia. As a strategic partner of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industries (MAFI), eAGRO was created to assist smallholders by increasing the effective delivery of agri-inputs, while promoting price transparency between smallholders, merchants, and agri-input producers.
The eAGRO launch event was officiated by YB Datuk Seri Dr Ronald Kiandee, Minister of Agriculture and Food Industries (MAFI) at Universiti Putra Malaysia.

We want to increase accessibility of quality agri-inputs to smallholders in order to boost their production yield, which in turn would be beneficial to the nation,” saidY.A.M. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 4 November 2021 – UOB Malaysia colleagues and their families united to raise RM300,000 for charities through the Bank’s flagship annual fund-raising event, the UOB Global Heartbeat Virtual Run/Walk. The funds raised will help to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and vulnerable communities impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The money raised through the UOB Heartbeat Fund will provide financial support for three charities1in Malaysia, which are Food Aid Foundation, SOLS 24/7 and Yayasan Generasi Gemilang. The funds will be distributed equally across these three beneficiaries to help more than 1,300 children and youth from vulnerable families for a year as they rebuild their lives from the disruptions caused by the pandemic.
City Expo Malaysia 2021 (CEM2021), the first and largest virtual expo on city planning and development in Malaysia, organised by the Malaysian Institute of Planners (MIP) and Nextdor Property Communications will be happening soon!
The month-long event will be held from November 8 to December 8, featuring 16 expo themes including Smart City, Green/Eco City, Heritage Conservation, Walkable City and Transit Oriented Development, among others.
