KUALA LUMPUR, 30 AUGUST 2021 – Central Global Berhad’s (“Central Global” or “Company”) wholly-owned subsidiary, Central Global Technology Sdn. Bhd. (“CGTSB”) has signed a memorandum of understanding (“MoU”) with Smart Sabah Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (“Smart Sabah”) to discuss the set-up of a joint venture (“JV”) for the construction of a dashboard for Sabah’s Ministry of Finance.

The MoU, which is valid for six months from the signing, will be the framework from which CGTSB and Smart Sabah explore collaboration leading to a JV for the dashboard’s planning, design, development, implementation and maintenance. 

KUALA LUMPUR, 30 August 2021: Institut Jantung Negara (IJN) has marked another remarkable milestone by being the first hospital in Asia to successfully perform a new type of treatment for patients suffering   from tricuspid regurgitation or leaky heart valves.

This treatment is a minimally invasive procedure that involves using a dry stent valve on a preloaded delivery system, called the TricValve® Transcatheter Bicaval Valves system (Bioprosthesis).

The bioprosthesis has a Breakthrough Device Designation and is used for patients with severe tricuspid regurgitation (right heart leaky valve) with high risk for open-heart surgery.
