Central Global Berhad’s Proposed Private Placement Approved by Bursa Securities

KUALA LUMPUR, 23 APRIL 2021 – Central Global Berhad’s (“CGB” or “Group”) proposed private placement of up to 18 million new ordinary shares has been approved by Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”).

CGB is a manufacturer of specialised industrial tapes and label stocks that pioneered industrial hi-temp masking tapes manufacturing and is a one-stop solution provider for crepe paper masking. The Group’s other business is construction, where it recently won a subcontract valued at RM100.54 million to upgrade water supply infrastructure in Lahad Datu, Sabah.

The World’s First 108mp Museum by Realme Malaysia Is Now Open to Public

PETALING JAYA, 23rd April 2021 — realme Malaysia has built the first-ever 108MP Museum which will be available in both live and virtual modes. It features photographs captured by the first realme smartphone built with its 108MP Ultra Quad Camera. All photographs were captured by local Malaysian photographers with realme 8 Pro which adopted the highest camera pixel in the smartphone industry now. 

realme’s 108MP Museum will be operating for three months, and it is now officially open for Malaysians to visit from 22 April (weekend only), 10am to 9pm at realme Design Studio. You can just walk in there and all our team members are ready to greet you.

Museum visitors are able to witness a total of 28 insta-worthy photographs and two illustrations with resolution as high as 108MP. The photographs' sizes displayed in the live museum range from 8 feet (H) x 6 feet (W) and 6.5 feet (H) x 8 feet (W) respectively. 

Pavilion Bukit Jalil Paves the Way For Greater Accessibility in Bukit Jalil

BUKIT JALIL, 23 APRIL 2021: Pavilion Bukit Jalil – The Icon of Connectivity today opened a new flyover, directly linking Bukit Jalil City (Jalan 13/155C) to Puchong via the Bukit Jalil Highway. Built by Malton Berhad (Malton), the innovative property developer behind the iconic 50-acre Bukit Jalil City, this one-way 300-meter flyover began construction in 2018 and was completed 6 months ahead of schedule to benefit the community with greater accessibility. The flyover will relieve 25% of traffic coming from Bukit Jalil Highway during peak hours and ease traffic for over 11,000 daily road users once Bukit Jalil City development is fully completed as part of Bukit Jalil City’s Masterplan.

Present at the ribbon cutting ceremony were Datuk Steven Tan, Director of Infrastructure Planning Department of Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur, accompanied by Datuk Lee Whay Hoong, Director of Regal Path Sdn Bhd; Datuk Abdul Wahab Khalil, Adviser to Kuala Lumpur Pavilion Sdn Bhd; Mr. Hong Lay Chuan, Executive Director of Malton; and Mr. Robert Spinks, Project Director (Development) of Malton.
