Add to it, managing an  automotive dealership under the Japanese marque and one must truly embrace the Company belief  and have a special DNA to make a success of it. 

Mr. Billy Wong, the owner of Ban Lee Heng Motor Sdn. Bhd. (Ban Lee Heng Motor) shared what it  takes to run a three-generation-old dealership. As one of the dealers that has a long history with Honda,  Ban Lee Heng Motor started its business as a bicycle shop which its founder, Dato’ Ng Chee Peng  grew it to become the sole distributor of Honda motorcycle. The dealership was then appointed as the  sole distributor of Honda cars in 1976. In the early 1980’s, Mr. Johnnie Wong joined the dealership as  a Sales Manager and helped to further expand the business to a 4-storey shoplot with workshop  operation. He was then elevated to the role of Managing Director of Ban Lee Heng Motor around the  90’s. 

Cyber Threats and Alerts Jump During COVID-19: Cisco Report

KUALA LUMPUR, 17 March 2021 Organizations in Malaysia are seeing an increase in cybersecurity challenges amidst the mass shift towards remote working, with a staggering 62% of respondents saying that they have experienced a 25% or more jump in either cyber threats or alerts since the start of COVID-19. The number is significant, especially since most organizations entered COVID-19 unprepared to securely support remote work. 

The study commissioned by Cisco titled the Future of Secure Remote Work shows that organizations in Malaysia are seeing an increase in cybersecurity challenges with malicious actors trying to take advantage of potential security gaps as people work from home, accessing corporate networks and cloud applications remotely.  

Huawei Releases White Paper on Innovation and Intellectual Property 2020

[Shenzhen, China, March 17, 2021] Huawei released a new white paper on innovation and intellectual property, at the Forum on Innovation and IP Prospects in 2021 and Beyond held at the company's Shenzhen headquarters. This paper focuses on Huawei's history in innovation and intellectual property (IP) management prior to 2010 and includes data and milestones related to their investment and R&D that spans back to the 1990s.

Huawei's Chief Legal Officer Song Liuping stated at the forum, "We want to show the history of our innovation over the past 30 years and our long-term commitment to respecting, protecting, and contributing to IP. With this white paper, we want you to better understand how Huawei has become what it is today." 

Huawei states in the paper that it has become one of the world's largest patent holders through sustained investment in innovation. By the end of 2020, Huawei held over 100,000 active patents in more than 40,000 patent families worldwide.
