Ground Team Red Sdn Bhd (GTR) has unveiled its control centre for ground handling services in Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (klia2), the first of its kind in Malaysia.
The airport control centre was officiated by the Minister of Transport Loke Siew Fook, along with AirAsia Executive Chairman Datuk Kamarudin Meranun, AirAsia Group CEO Tan Sri Tony Fernandes, GTR Chairman Bo Lingam, GTR CEO Kevin Chin, AirAsia Malaysia CEO Riad Asmat, AirAsia X Malaysia CEO Benyamin Ismail and Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad Acting Group CEO Raja Azmi Raja Nazuddin.
Volunteers will have the opportunity to help raise much-needed funds for the purchase of a new ambulance for Community Policing Malaysia (COPs) this December as the Kentang Charity Fun Run 2018 returns.
COP’s founder, Kuan Chee Heng, has been raising funds and awareness on the plight of the needy for years and even earned the moniker ‘Uncle Kentang’, Kuan’s initiatives include the 10-sen Flea Market, 10-sen Ambulance Service, 10-sen Taxi and most recently the 10-sen Library, he has been looking at ways to get more members of the community engaged in his efforts.
Tourism Malaysia had participated in the World Travel Market 2018 in London, from 5 to 7 November 2018, led by the Datuk Mohamaddin bin Ketapi, Minister of Tourism, Arts & Culture Malaysia. This was the first time Datuk Mohamaddin led such a mission to Europe since taking office.
Among other delegates included Datuk Ahmad Shah Hussein Tambakau, Tourism MalaysiaChairmanand also Mr. Zulkafli Yahya, the Director for International Promotion (Americas / Europe / Oceania).
