The founder and group chairman of boutique Shariah advisory firm Amanie Group, Datuk Dr Mohd Daud Bakar has been appointed as the board member of Sime Darby Property Bhd recently.
Dr Mohd Daud, who is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Malaysian Business, Malaysia’s premier and oldest business magazine, joins nine other prominent members on the board.
TPM Engineering Sdn Bhd (TPME) and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) have inked a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to jointly collaborate in the prototyping of the latter’s development of its endoscope sterilizing apparatus known as R-Entiquefor future commercialization.
R-Entique, an endoscope sterilizing unit with built-in timer and holder, is a multipurpose portable apparatus designed for the safe usage and maintenance of rigid endoscopes. The project was headed by Prof. Madya Dr. Salina Husain, of the UKM Medical Faculty.
