HELP University Partners Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad to Drive Innovation in Fintech and Banking

KUALA LUMPUR, 3 NOVEMBER 2023 – HELP University (HELP) through the Faculty of Computing and Digital Technology forms a strategic collaboration and signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad (ABMB) to introduce the very first Research Lab on Generative AI in Malaysia, between a higher education institution and a financial institution.  The collaborative efforts of these esteemed institutions promise not only to transform the financial industry, but also to revolutionise the education landscape.  

The inception of this research innovative initiative is rooted in an essential question – Can we use AI to predict the success of new banking products? The question birthed an endeavour that has the potential to reshape product development, decision making, and market survey processes in the banking and financial services sector.

Kuala Lumpur, 3rd November 2023 - Europ Assistance (“EA”), the first travel insurance and assistance player to have become global, offering protection anywhere, everywhere has officially released survey research in collaboration with the world’s third largest market research company, Ipsos.

The collaboration sees the output of their 22nd edition of the Holiday Barometer, which was conducted among 15,000 individuals across 15 countries, including Malaysia where 1,000 respondents thoroughly answered questions about Malaysian traveler trends. The 2023 publication is characterised by a strengthened international outlook, going beyond travel preferences among the American, European, and Asian/Oceanian.

This mission aims to be executed in various initiatives leading up to the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign unveiled during the Budget 2024.

Since its inception in 2017, WTGA has been a valuable resource for locals and tourists, guiding them to a diverse array of dining experiences, from restaurants and cafes to neighborhood eateries. The awards aim to play a pivotal role in shaping culinary exploration by providing essential insights, recommendations, and a platform for discovering the region's rich and diverse food scene.
