S PAY GLOBAL has partnered with Payments Network Malaysia ("PayNet") to link DuitNow QR, Malaysia's real-time payment platform with S PAY GLOBAL, Sarawak's state-owned eWallet with over 770,000 registered users and more than 91,000 merchants. To date, S PAY GLOBAL has also processed RM4.2 billion in transactions since its introduction in 2017. Together with the support of the Sarawak Multimedia Authority (SMA), this new integration enables Sarawakians to enjoy seamless, fast, and secure cashless transactions at over 2 million DuitNow QR touchpoints nationwide, reinforcing the state's commitment towards digital transformation through financial inclusion and a cashless economy.
The integration of DuitNow with S PAY GLOBAL represents a milestone in Sarawak's drive towards financial inclusion and digital financial services outreach to a broader audience. Under the SMA's guidance, S PAY GLOBAL has become vital in expanding financial access to all Sarawakians, including those in rural and underserved areas. By offering interoperability with various DuitNow wallets, S PAY GLOBAL ensures Sarawakians have more options for conducting payments, transferring funds, and managing transactions. Moreover, Sarawak merchants will benefit from the expanded reach of DuitNow as it will enable more simplified commercial transactions and payments through a broader network of customers.

This integration further aligns with the Sarawak Digital Economy 2030 Blueprint, which focuses on modernizing the state's financial infrastructure and making digital payments a standard part of daily life. Including DuitNow in S PAY GLOBAL's ecosystem will accelerate user and merchant growth as payment processes become more seamless and accessible.
