Honda Malaysia (or the Company) today announced that bookings are now open for its highly anticipated model - the New Civic, set to officially launch in January 2025. Designed to redefine the C-segment with style, performance, and innovation, the New Civic continues Honda’s legacy of excellence while offering an elevated driving experience.
As one of the most beloved Honda models, the Civic holds a special place in the hearts of Malaysians. Since the introduction of the 11th generation in 2022, over 28,000 units have been sold in Malaysia. The New Civic is available in two RS variants: the e:HEV RS and the Petrol RS. Both models boast distinct design elements, including a sporty RS exterior with body colour front grille extension and lower grille garnishes for e:HEV RS, while the Petrol RS receives black-painted front grille extensions and lower grille garnishes. For the e:HEV RS, a new 18-inch Matte Grey Alloy Wheel design enhances its bold presence on the road.
Under the hood, the e:HEV RS features the cutting-edge 2.0L e:HEV powertrain, offering a maximum power output of 184PS and 315Nm of torque, while the Petrol RS variant is powered by a 1.5L VTEC Turbocharged engine, delivering 182PS of maximum power output and 240Nm of torque for unparalleled efficiency and performance in the segment.
The Civic also comes standard with Honda SENSING, a complete package of nine advanced safety features, while the innovative Honda CONNECT provides safety, security, and convenience integrated via smartphone connection.
