KL Wellness City (KLWC), Southeast Asia’s first wellness and healthcare-focused township, announced key updates on its Kuala Lumpur International Hospital (KLIH) during Chinese New Year celebrations.
KL Wellness City (KLWC), Southeast Asia’s first wellness and healthcare-focused township, announced key updates on its Kuala Lumpur International Hospital (KLIH) during Chinese New Year celebrations.
KLIH, the centrepiece of KLWC, is now 40% complete and on track for its grand opening in Q3 2026. The hospital’s capacity has been expanded with the number of operating theatre (OT) rooms increased from 22 to 25.
"This proactive expansion underscores our commitment to providing world-class medical care to both local and international patients," said Dato’ Dr. Colin Lee, Managing Director of KLWC.
KLWC also marked the festive season by spreading joy to 75 elderly residents from five local old folks’ homes, including Rumah Charis, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Amal Charis Mantin, and Pusat Jagaan Rumah Love and Care Kajang.
"Giving back to society has been a cornerstone of our journey. This Chinese New Year, we are proud to spread joy and warmth to the elderly, reflecting the season’s spirit of unity, compassion, and generosity," added Dato’ Dr. Colin Lee.
YB Puan Teresa Kok Suh Sim, Member of Parliament for Seputeh, commended KLWC’s efforts, stating:

Additionally, KLWC announced a three-month extension of its AirAsia Complimentary Air Ticket Campaign, which offers purchasers of units at The Nobel Healthcare Park AirAsia flight e-vouchers worth RM15,000.
