Baiwago Plus Café announced plans to have 15 more outlets by year 2020, bringing the total outlets to 21 at the launch of the Puchong outlet yesterday.
The Puchong outlets marks Baiwago’s sixth outlet and follows a successful pilot project at the café’s Kuchai Lama branch on the adoption of MCash as its exclusive e-wallet partner.
Dave Lee, general manager of 88c Bakery Café Sdn Bhd, owner of Baiwago Plus Café, said the collaboration with Mcash came about December last year.
“We have always want to find ways to ease customers cafe experience and with MCash, customers enjoy the convenience of cashless transactions.
“In addition to that, we as merchants are able to enjoy a safer and a more efficient way in handling payments, with the ability to apply data analytics to better understand the customers’ spending patterns,” he said.
Lee added that customers who used Mcash to make transactions at their cafe are entitled to more discount in comparison to using cash.
He also announced that franchising opportunities for Baiwago Plus Café will also be made available by the second quarter of 2018, and it is open to anyone who has an entrepreneurial spirit.
Baiwago Plus Café originates from KaoHsiung, Taiwan and operates for 24 hours a day.
