Domino's Pizza Malaysia expects to continue its double-digit growth in terms of revenue this year, driven by the continuous demand for unique flavors of pizza despite the tough challenges in the food and beverages (F&B) industry.
Domino’s Pizza Malaysia and Singapore general manager operations, Shamsul Amree said the group’s revenue has been growing at an average of 20 per cent in the last two years.
“In the last two years we have opened over 70 stores all over Malaysia and from this alone, you can see how well we have been doing.
“Moving forward, this year we are aiming to open another 20 stores especially in East Malaysia, some areas in Klang Valley,” he said to the members of media.
He said Dominos will also push their sales by introducing new menu every quarter of the year to ensure consistent sales throughout the year.
“Looking back at our previous campaign, the Cheese tarik menu, it successful in attracting our customers and creating hype. This has managed to help Domino’s improved our overall sales growth.
“Today, we have introduced another menu that are positive that Malaysians will love,” he told Malaysian Business.
As part of their continuous effort in pushing double-digit growth, Domino’s Pizza Malaysia has unveiled their newest flavor named Samyeang Pizzas.
Domino’s new Samyeang Pizzas are featured in three varieties, namely Samyeang Tuna Pizza, Samyeang Chicken Pizza and Samyeang Beef Pizza.
Domino’s also introduced a side of spicy chicken wings named Ayam-haseyo Chicken Wings.
Its general manager marketing, Linda Hassan revealed that the flavor was inspired by the popular spicy noodle challenge and the development of the flavor took six months.
“The research and development took a while as we wanted to perfect the blend between korean spiciness and to combine that with savory and sweet flavors,” she said.
