Samsung has launched the Samsung Flip, an innovative digital flipchart which can be rotated between portrait and landscape modes and is similar in built to that of a traditional whiteboard, in Kuala Lumpur.

Samsung intended to solve a common corporate problems of sorting through endless stacks of paper to find a specific discussion point  and with the invention of Flip, consumers are able to scroll through and search up to 20 clearly-divided digital pages.

“Today, many companies are embracing open-plan office environments where meetings are more likely to occur spontaneously rather than in meeting rooms.

Flip comes with a 55-inch 4K UHD touch display and allows up to four people to write simultaneously, using any object, even a finger, as a writing tool.

Equipped with a HDMI port, it is able to wireless connect with devices supporting the Windows 10 operating system, runs on the Samsung Flip also runs on the Tizen operating system like other Samsung products and contains 8GB of internal storage.

Besides linking personal devices through the integrated NFC technology, its screen mirroring connectivity allows users to mirror their personal mobile device content directly onto the screen and once connected, changes can be made on the central screen which will automatically transmit to the user's personal device, and vice versa, for matched viewing.

Downloading and sharing featured content through email, or traditional printing, or save into a USB drive just like any other laptop is also possible for meeting facilitators and attendees.

Intended for the modern office, the Samsung Flip is retailed at RM12,999 inclusive of GST.
