Kuala Lumpur, 20 June - Boost, Malaysia’s home-grown e-wallet app has updated new features that serve all payment needs for Malaysian. Boost introduced a key feature that will allow users to give back to society through its latest donation functionalities including Tabung Harapan and Tabung BERSAMU (by Media Prima).
Boost has over 2.5million users with online and offline merchants located in over 25,000 merchant touchpoints. The new features will enable users to pay for parking at most major streets around Klang Valley including Bangsar, Mont Kiara and Taman Tun Dr Ismail and pay for utility bills with partners such as Telekom Malaysia, Astro and Syabas. Users can also enjoy instant shake rewards after each payment as well as set auto-reminders.
These new features will complement the current services of buying prepaid top ups and digital vouchers as well as gifting, free money transfers, top up for others and even “Go Dutch” with its unique split bills feature.
“We are always working towards providing the best experience for our users with our features and services. This was one of the many reasons why we introduced Tabung Harapan and Tabung BERSAMAMU (by Media Prima) into our list of organisations for Boost users to contribute towards,” said Christopher Tiffin, Chief Executive Officer of Boost.
He also mentioned that for every 10th shake reward, Boost has pledged to donate RM1 to Tabung Harapan, which will run until the end of Raya. As a homegrown e-wallet, they felt it was important for them to facilitate and be an integral part of giving back through #DoGoodWithBoost.
“We hope to further our working relationship with our partners and continue our efforts in contributing to causes that we and our Boost users believe in”, he added.
In addition, Boost introduced the “Boost Cup 2018” in conjunction with the 2018 Fifa World Cup. Boost users can win a share of the RM90000 prize pool by answering a few short questions as well as guess the winning team of the match. The Boost E-Wallet App is available on iOS Apple store as well as the Android Play Store.
