The Lexis Hotel Group – Lexis Port Dickson, Grand Lexis and Lexis Hibiscus in Port Dickson, yesterday announced its support for the nation’s Tabung Harapan by donating RM3 per room from June 25 to July 8, 2018, which is expected to raise no lesser than RM33,390 in total.
“Our country needs us now! It is our privilege as Malaysians to support nation building especially in its time of need, and we hope this gesture will go a long way in bringing a sense of togetherness as a company as well as a community,” said Mandy Chew Siok Cheng, President of Lexis Hotel Group.
The campaign which began on June 25 will run across three hotel brands with a total of 1216 rooms where a fixed amount of RM3 will be set aside for each occupied room.
Chew also confirms that all three resorts in Port Dickson contribute exceptionally towards the tourism sector in the state of Negeri Sembilan and receives up to 4 million tourist arrivals from 141 countries.
On May 30, the Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad announced the setting up of Tabung Harapan to raise funds to reduce the country’s debt of RM1 trillion.
Officially opened on 31 July 2017, the iconic Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson resembles the national flower of Malaysia and each of its 639 pool villas are equipped with a private pool and steam room. It is the holder of not one, but two Guinness World Records, for “The most swimming pools in a resort” and “The most overwater villas in single resort”.
