OPPO has garnered much attention and positive reaction in Malaysia with the launch of its Find X an F7 earlier this year.
“For the past four and a half years, OPPO has reached significant heights in establishing itself as a major contender for Malaysia”, said OPPO Malaysia chief executive officer, William Fang.

OPPO F9’s main feature is the advance VOOC Flash Charge technology and Waterdrop screen with flower petal pattern design to elevate users experience.
The VOOC Flash Charge technology, independently developed by OPPO uses low voltage and high current charging solution allows phone to charge four times faster.
In addition, VOOC boasts an intelligent five-layer protection system from the adaptor to the port and interior of the phone, preventing the phone from overheating while charging.
The F9 6.3-inch bezel-less waterdrop screen features a resolution of 2340×1080 FHD+.
The F9 model boasts dual rear cameras (16MP and 2MP) that are equipped with Al-enhanced dual to provide excellent Bokeh effect and AI Scene Recognition that helps to adjust the perfect balance of brightness, exposure, colour and contrast.
The 25MP front camera has the re-invented ‘Sensor-HDR’ technology that improves backlight Selfies.
In addition, OPPO F9 can identify 296 feature points for each subject to enhance their features.
The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 with ColorOS 5.2 Operating System, 3500mAh battery, 6GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage and supports 256 GB memory expansion.
The phone which is priced at RM 1,399 is available for online and in-store pre-order starting from August 16 until August 28.
