mmCineplexes, one of the nation’s key cinema operators, debuts Malaysia’s first Coca-Cola Freestyle, an innovative fountain dispensing beverage machine.
Coca-Cola Freestyle will change the way beverages are consumed. With the user-friendly touch-control interface, consumers will first choose from four categories – all drinks, low or no-calorie drinks, caffeine-free drinks or fruit-flavoured drinks – before proceeding to choose the type of soft drinks and flavour.
“We are super excited to be the first to introduce this cool innovation and are confident it will excite Malaysians.
“They now have the freedom to explore, pour and enjoy more than 50 sparkling and still beverages on demand, including more than 30 low or no-calorie options.
“What’s additionally interesting is that over 40 of these unique options are not available in any ready-to-drink formats at supermarkets,” said mmCineplexes director of marketing and business development, Jason Teo.
Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta, Dasani and A&W can be combined with fruity drinks such as cherry and orange.
The all-new mango and lychee options are among some 15 options exclusive to Malaysians. Among the interesting beverages are Lychee Sprite Zero and A&W Rootbeer Zero Cherry Vanilla.

Coca-cola Malaysia director of customer development and digital transformation, Wee Li Ying adds “The fountain dispensing beverage experience was first introduced by Coca-Cola in 2009 and has since been offering a wide array of drink choices in a fun and interactive format.
“Coca-Cola Freestyle adopts the patented PurePour Technology to combine selected ingredients into the water stream and True Carb Technology to ensure ideal cold carbonation; all to make that perfect beverage.”
She added, Coca-Cola Freestyle is more than a beverage dispenser, it’s a celebration of individuality and choice.

To mark the launch of Coca-Cola Freestyle in Malaysia, mmCineplexes invited over 50 Malaysians to join in a Big Freestyle Photo Shoot.
