British American Tobacco (Malaysia) Berhad (BAT Malaysia) upheld its accolade as a leading employer when it took home the Top Employer – Malaysia/Asia Pacific 2019 Award yet again.
The Top Employers Institute also further recognised BAT Malaysia for being within the best three of companies certified in Malaysia.

This reinforces our values and philosophy to cultivate the talents we have and empower them to be future leaders.
“We believe this is the cornerstone to attracting the best talents, and so we will continue to be encouraged to forge the best employer-employee relationship at BAT Malaysia,” said BAT Malaysia managing director, Erik Stoel.
Aside from the Top Employer Award, BAT Malaysia also recently took home the “Outstanding Practice: Work” at the Life at Work Award 2018 by Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad.
Further populating the list of accolades, BAT Malaysia was also named winner of HR Asia’s ‘Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2018’ award while taking home four more awards at the HR Excellence Awards Malaysia 2018.
BAT’s shared services companies in Malaysia consisting of BAT Global Business Services Sdn Bhd (BAT GSD KL) and BAT Aspac Shared Services Sdn Bhd also took home the HR Asia’s ‘Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2018’ award, as well as two Gold Awards at the HR Excellence Awards Malaysia 2018.
