In a statement, the bank said the first recipients was Rumah Seri Kenangan Cheng Melaka, a welfare home for the elderly.
The second recipient was Yayasan Toh Puan Zurina, which runs a haemodialysis centre for the underprivileged.
Both homes received RM5,000 each from EXIM Bank head of communications and stakeholder relations Azmin Hamzah on March 26.
Rumah Seri Kenangan Cheng, which has been operating since 1982 through public and government donations, accommodates 159 old folks from different ethnicities and backgrounds.
Meanwhile, Yayasan Toh Puan Zurina, which was set up in 2015, currently has 160 haemodialysis machines at its centre.
