Kuala Lumpur, 26 January 2022 – myTukar is going nationwide in 2022! The online car marketplace is expanding its on the ground presence by opening close to 25 showrooms and retail experience centres all over the country, aiming to make the purchasing journey for customers smooth and seamless.
Other than myTukar’s digital platform, these new showroom outlets will now be another key avenue for customers to buy and sell their vehicles more seamlessly. These outlets will feature the latest line of used cars in the market. Aside from showrooms, the brand will also be launching a series of Retail Experience Centres. A one-stop-shop for customers, the brand looks to innovate the automotive retail sector, by providing customers with end-to-end used car services. These services cover all aspects of car ownership from the buying of the vehicle to car service and maintenance.
Among the many locations myTukar will be opening their showrooms, inspection and retail experience centres include Perak, Kedah, Sabah, Sarawak, Penang, the Klang Valley, Johor, Seremban, and many more.
"Through these expansions, we hope to establish myTukar as a community brand, a platform that stimulates the growth of the used car industry. With these physical outlets in place, we will now be able to serve our customers better, providing them even more access than ever before to a wide range of quality vehicles," said Derrick Eng, CEO of myTukar.
"Our goal for 2022 is to have our experience centres established across all major towns nationwide. The brand is currently moving towards creating a customer-centric network, ensuring our users are connected, feel safe in using our platform and view us as trustworthy. As we move towards the age of mobility, we want to provide customers with better offers and a more holistic buying and selling experience," said Derrick.
myTukar is currently experiencing a 15-20% increase in used car sales and it is expected to grow exponentially in 2022. This is due in part to factors such as the global semiconductor shortage impacting the production of new cars, and the high prices of new vehicles. "There is so much of the market that is left unexplored. Using this expansion as a driving force for our growth, we aim to leverage the increasing demand for used cars and expand our reach, both offline and online,” He further added.
myTukar is an online marketplace offering a comprehensive range of services for all aspects of car ownership, with over 4,000 sellers. The brand's digital bidding platform enables users to conveniently buy or sell their vehicles, from the comfort of their own homes.
