KUALA LUMPUR, April 14 (Bernama) -- PETRONAS AutoExpert welcomes Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One (F1) driver, George Russell, for a special visit at its flagship outlet here to showcase the services provided at the one-stop solutions centre.
During the visit, George Russell was introduced to the various functions and solutions offered for all automotive services. The workshop is equipped with highly trained technicians and uses genuine PETRONAS lubricants and fluids developed with the same Fluid Technology SolutionsTM formulation that powered the team to its eighth World Constructors’ Championship.

PETRONAS AutoExpert currently has 14 outlets within its network in Malaysia. The first outlet was opened in April 2019 in Shah Alam’s Seksyen 15 and by the end of 2022, the network is expected to have a total of 50 outlets. All outlets have a standardised appearance to provide consistency of service and quality assurance to the customers.
At the outlets, customers can enjoy various amenities, including a comfortable lounge equipped with complimentary snacks and beverages as well as a surau (prayer room). PETRONAS AutoExpert also provides convenience by offering customers with options to book service packages online via Lazada, mobile workshop services via the Pomen app and e-payment via Setel.
Outside of Malaysia, there are more than 3,000 outlets within the PETRONAS AutoExpert Network across China, Europe and South America.
PETRONAS is also currently in partnership with Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) to support local entrepreneurs under the MARA-PETRONAS Automotive Entrepreneur Program, which kickstarted in June 2020. Under this initiative, qualified entrepreneurs are able to receive support in the form of business development fund, professional training modules and business development & marketing guidance towards the opening of PETRONAS AutoExpert outlets.
