Healthy eating is the foundation for healthy growth and development, as well as academic success. Students with a balanced diet tend to perform better academically, are more focused in class, and have more energy for sports and recreational activities. Studies have shown that students who consume a balanced diet daily tend to perform better academically. Food rich in essential nutrients such as protein, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats can help improve brain function and concentration. Healthy eating supports healthy growth and development. It also helps prevent chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and heart disease.
This healthy eating campaign emphasises the importance of healthy eating at the school level in Kedah. With the right knowledge and understanding, the younger generation can make better dietary choices that will help them lead healthier and more productive lives. Building healthy eating habits during childhood and adolescence can help shape lifelong eating habits and prevent future health problems.

Some students and participants are enjoying the refreshing Yogu Stick that is rich in probiotics.
The campaign helps schools educate students about the importance of healthy eating and how to make healthy food choices. This is valuable education that will help them lead healthier and more productive lives, said Razi Pahlavi Abdul Aziz, CEO of the Amanie Care Foundation. "It is very important to ensure that students have access to healthy and balanced meals at school. This will not only help them in their academic performance but also help them develop healthy eating habits that they will carry throughout their lives," he added.
Overall, the launch of the State-Level Healthy Eating Campaign in Kedah is a significant step towards building a healthier and stronger generation. With initiatives like this, it is hoped to realising the improvements in the health and well-being of students across Kedah.
