Nutrition Pro Expands to Sabah, On Track to Achieve RM20m in Revenue in 2021

Penampang, Sabah, 01 Oct 2021 – Sports Nutrition Pro Sdn Bhd (“Nutrition Pro”), one of Malaysia’s leading sports supplement retailers, opens its doors this month in Penampang, Sabah. Despite the prolonged lockdown of the fitness industry due to the COVID-19 pandemic this year, the company is still on track to achieve its all-time high revenue of RM20 million in 2021, an increase by over 60% from 2020.

Established in 2011, Nutrition Pro has successfully introduced world-renowned sports nutrition supplements to the fitness and bodybuilding market. Amongst some of the top global brands distributed are MMX Muscle Metabolix, Optimum Nutrition, Dymatize, MyProtein, MuscleTech, Scivation, Redcon1, Dream Tan, BSN and BPI Sports. PETALING JAYA, 1st October 2021 - Face masks have become a crucial necessity for all Malaysians to stay safe amidst the pandemic. Face masks are being sold immensely everywhere in Malaysia and can be easily purchased online. Unfortunately, many underprivileged people may not have the funds to acquire sufficient quality masks and might be exposed to potential risks. 

Prompted by this situation, BaWangChaJi Malaysia has rolled out a ‘Buy 1, Gift 1’ face mask campaign as part of the company’s effort in supporting the community. The idea behind this campaign is to raise awareness on the importance of using quality face masks while also giving out face masks to those in need.

Sun Life Malaysia Contributes RM120,000 Towards COVID-19 Support Programme

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – 01 October 2021 – To support the vulnerable communities segment, Sun Life Malaysia Assurance Berhad and Sun Life Malaysia Takaful Berhad (collectively Sun Life Malaysia), a life insurance and family takaful company, has committed RM120,000 to a COVID-19 support programme for 200 B40 families affected by the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Working in partnership with HOPE worldwide Malaysia  (HOPEww), the funding will go towards the distribution of COVID-19 packs that include groceries and essential hygiene products such as face masks and hand sanitisers, over a four-month period, starting September until December 2021.
