MEMPHIS, Tenn., Dec. 14, 2020 – FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company, announced today that operations are in motion to transport its first shipments of COVID-19 vaccines.

Following the Food and Drug Administration’s approval of Emergency Use Authorization for the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, FedEx Express will begin transport of the vaccine using its FedEx Priority Overnight® service supported by FedEx Priority Alert® advanced monitoring. After months of preparation and close planning with Pfizer, other healthcare companies, and federal and state officials, the first COVID-19 vaccines will move to dosing centers in the United States. Vaccine distribution will be balanced among major cargo carriers, and FedEx is working closely with healthcare customers to prepare for additional vaccine shipments and transportation of critical vaccine-related supplies.

SHAH ALAM, 15 December 2020 — Canon has launched in Japan of four new ultra-high-sensitivity multipurpose cameras equipped with a proprietary ultra-high-sensitivity CMOS sensor — the ML-100 EF, ML-105 EF, ML-100 M58 and ML-105 M58 — which deliver exceptionally high sensitivity to enable the capture of video with a minimum subject illumination of less than 0.0005 lux (at maximum 75 dB gain setting, equivalent to an ISO sensitivity of over 4 million).

The ML-100 EF and ML-105 EF employ Canon’s EF lens mount, enabling users to attach a variety of lenses from the Company’s rich lineup of EF lenses, while the ML-100 M58 and ML-105 M58 utilises the M58 mount, compatible with a wide range of lenses and accessories. All four models retain the same basic functionality as their predecessor model, the ME20F-SH (released in December 2015) in a smaller body that satisfies environmental performance specification standards. This makes them ideal for applications such as specialized monitoring, research and investigations in extremely low light scenarios where capturing usable video has traditionally proven difficult.

The mutually beneficial partnership will see Coway contributing RM30,000 towards research and training activities that support the product life-cycle development of Coway, as well as Solutions Lab, which is a brand new initiative under Sunway Innovation Labs (iLabs) that empower young innovative talents of Sunway University to co-create solutions that solve the real-world problems faced by the industry.
