KUALA LUMPUR, 13 NOVEMBER 2020 – This year, Deepavali may be a little different, but we want to stay true to the Festival of Lights by celebrating light over darkness (however big or small) through this joyous occasion.
With the Pizza Hut ‘Spread the Light’ Campaign, we want to celebrate special people in our lives, who have been the light in their own way, selflessly bringing joy and encouraging others with their talents. And to our frontliners, who are going the extra mile, risking their own lives to care for fellow Malaysians.
KUALA LUMPUR, 12 November 2020 – Shell Malaysia and BonusLink launched the ‘Ekstra Ganjaran Setiap Hari’ campaign to reward loyal customers with up to 4X BonusLink Points for fuels purchases. The campaign begins on 16 November 2020 and will end on 30 April 2021.
Shairan Huzani Husain, Managing Director of Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd and Shell Timur Sdn Bhd said, “Helping customers and communities through the COVID-19 pandemic remains a top priority at Shell. At a time of unprecedented economic uncertainty, we’ve had to rethink our loyalty programme offerings to ensure we continue to stand behind all our customers and provide them the best value. Our partnership with BonusLink has helped us turn every journey into a rewarding one by giving customers up to 4X Points whenever they refuel at Shell, and at the same time they can also redeem a wide range of snacks and drinks from our stores from only one hundred (100) Points. We hope customers will take this opportunity to get rewarded at Shell so they can go well on their journeys.”
The Malaysian government announced an expansionary budget for 2021, aimed at providing sustained support for the economy. Financial support and fiscal reliefs are targeted at vulnerable populations and businesses to help them navigate the social, financial and economic fallout from COVID-19. In this investment note, we examine the potential investment implications for Malaysian financial markets from the measures proposed in Budget 2021.
The Budget proposal will be debated in the parliament over the next two weeks before a vote. This time round, there is increased scrutiny on whether the Budget will pass or whether there will be any significant amendments to the proposal. In the past, passage of the Budget has typically been smooth. Uncertainty now stems from a fractious political make-up.
