OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad and OCBC Al-Amin Bank Berhad announced they are reaching out to their SME and retail banking customers affected by the recent floods in Penang through, among others, moratoriums and waivers.
Among the programmes in place on a case-by-case basis are a six-month moratorium on monthly instalment payments for loans/financing and waiver of charges for SME customers and free replacement of affected banking items such cards and cheque books that might have been damaged in the flood.
Allianz Malaysia and Impact Hub KL engaged local social entrepreneurs and potential participants for the first ever Investment Ready Program (IRP) during a Warm Up event at Sunway iLabs.
The event provided local change makers and aspiring social entrepreneurs a platform to learn more about the IRP, a unique acceleration program that is part of the ‘Encouraging Future Generations’ initiative by Allianz Group and Impact Hub that was purposefully tailored to serve driven entrepreneurs championing the social inclusion of children and youths across Brazil, Germany, Malaysia and Turkey.
Malaysia Automotive Institute has taken a step further this year by taking Malaysia’s largest annual autoshow to a whole new level. Malaysia Autoshow 2017, with the theme “Smart, Safe and Sustainable Mobility” takes place from the 9 - 12 November, from 10am until 9pm at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park, Serdang (MAEPS).
The new home of the Malaysia Autoshow 2017 is the show's largest ever venue, placed on 368 acres of land. The larger area has allowed MAI to bring the first autoshow in Malaysia that also features a symposium and music festival - Kuala Lumpur International Automotive Symposium (KLIAS) and SoundValley Festival 2017, taking place concurrently in the same location.
