MyHSR Corporation (MyHSR Corp) received the prestigious UIC membership during the 91st UIC General Assembly held in Paris last week. 

Incorporated since 1922, UIC is a worldwide professional association representing the railway sector and promoting rail transport globally, by developing and facilitating all forms of international cooperation among members and sharing best practices. 

To create a bridge between academia and the industry, Monash University Malaysia has launched its subsidiary, Monash Malaysia R&D Sdn Bhd (MMR&D) in an event titled ‘University Industry Collaboration: A Catalyst in Powering an Innovation Economy’.

As an approved R&D status company by Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), MMR&D strives to influence and impact organisations in Malaysia to invest in research and development that will enable Malaysia to be an innovation-driven economy. Additionally, it aims to develop and provide leading-edge research and development expertise to industries and organisations, to discover innovative solutions that enhance their global competitiveness.

Malaysia Major Events (MME), a division of Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), an agency under the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, Malaysia organised its annual Malaysia Major Events Symposium 2017 (MME Symposium) by bringing in all key industrial players under one platform to discuss current issues on sports, arts, lifestyle and entertainment at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. 

Themed “We Make It Happen”, the symposium focused on accelerating the growth of the events industry in Malaysia by combining inspirational ideas, innovative technology and bold actions to maximise the Malaysia experience. The symposium also highlighted the importance of major events industry by offering each individual sector a place of its own for delegates to further delve, deliberate and decide how the content will affect their business and the industry as a whole. 

Sharp Malaysia Sales & Service Company Sdn Bhd (SMSS) launched its new and exciting product line-up focusing on the company’s new technology and business directions.

Drawing on the brand’s tagline of “Be Original”, the launch gave a peek into Sharp’s immediate direction for future growth, which is by creating an 8K Ecosytem and products with Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things (nicely coined as AIoT by Sharp) features.
